Glycine post-synthetic modification of MIL-53(Fe) metal-organic framework with enhanced and stable peroxidase-like activity for sensitive glucose biosensing

A glycine modified MIL-53(Fe) was prepared by a facile and rapid post-synthetic strategy. The resultant glycine-MIL-53(Fe) exhibits much higher peroxidase-like catalytic activity and stability than the MIL-53(Fe), and can be used as a peroxidase mimetic for sensitive detection of glucose in biological samples.164
