Dimeric P5-deltacyclene complexes: Variation of bridging modes and intact or partially opened PC cage ligand structures

Chiral PC cage P5-deltacyclene and coinage M(I) ions form Ci symmetric dimeric meso-complexes with parallel P-M-P bridges for Ag and Au with a d10-d10 metallophilic interaction, but Rh(I) adds to the smallest ring structure of the cage.
