Synthesis of novel fluorinated chalcones derived from 4′-morpholinoacetophenone and their antiproliferative effects

A series of (E)-1-(4-morpholinophenyl)-3-(flourosubstitutedphenyl)-prop-2-en-1-one derivatives were synthesized. Anticancer activity of these derivatives 1-7 were determined against HeLa (human uterus carcinoma) and C6 (Rat Brain tumor) cells using BrdU cell proliferataion ELISA assay. And also fluorinated chalcones 1-7 were examined for the inhibitory effect on PKM2, hCA I and CAII enzymes.291
