Two Gd(III) coordination polymers based on a flexible tricarboxylate: Syntheses, structures, luminescence and catalytic properties

We have synthesized two complexes with different structures based on H3TTTA and Gd3+ ions. The two complexes all quench the emission spectra after coordinated to the Gd3+ ions. They have higher yields and TOFs to catalyze cyanosilylation reactions. The difference of the catalytic activities is due to more possibility of metal open sites.222
