Octahedral Ni(II) complex with new NNO donor Schiff base ligand: Synthesis, structure and Hirshfeld surface

Using a new Ni(II) complex has been synthesized by using NNO donor Schiff base ligand namely, 2-[(piperidin-2-ylmethylimino)-methyl]-phenol and characterized by spectroscopic, thermal, anti bacterial, electro chemical and structural studies. The structure exhibits 2D supramolecular assembly through π-π and C-H…π interactions. The contribution of intermolecular interactions has been analyzed through Hirshfeld surface analysis.494
