Syntheses, characterization and antioxidant activity studies of mixed-ligand copper(II) complexes of 2,2′-bipyridine and glycine: The X-ray crystal structure of [Cu(BPy)(Gly)]ClO4

The antioxidant biomimetic catalytic activities of a series of mixed-ligand copper(I) complexes of bipyridyl and glycine have been studied using different physico-chemical methods. The results show that the copper(II) complexes found to be promising candidates as antioxidant mimic enzyme.175
