A series of Cadmium(II) complexes with 2-substituted terephthalate building block and N-Donor co-ligands: Structural diversity and fluorescence properties

Four Cd(II) complexes 1-4 based on 1,2,4-trimellitic acid or 2-sulfoterephthalate are described, which exhibit structural diversity due to the difference of organic ligands. Fluorescence spectra exhibit mainly the π - π* transition of these organic ligands.280
