The 1H nuclear spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times at BEarth of some liquids associated with environmental spills

► Hydrogen spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times, T1 and T2, of several liquid hydrocarbons were measured at BEarth. ► Most liquids possessed T1 and T2 values which will yield a good NMR signal at BEarth. ► The exceptions were the more viscous diesel fuel and motor oil.
