Cytotoxic cardenolides and sesquiterpenoids from the fruits of Reevesia formosana

Eight cardenolides, sesquiterpenoids and glycosides were isolated from the fruits of Reevesia formosana. Reevesioside J and strophanthidin exhibited moderate cytotoxicity, and reevesiterpenol E exhibited selective cytotoxicity.
