Secondary metabolites of the lichen Hypogymnia physodes (L.) Nyl. and their presence in spruce (Picea abies (L.) H. Karst.) bark

In addition to the well-known Hypogymnia physodes secondary metabolites, further three, i.e., conphysodalic, 4-O-methylphysodic and α-alectoronic acid were identified in the lichen thallus using UPLC-MS/MS approach. A few detected compounds were present in the bark of spruce branches abundantly colonised by this lichen species.
