Metabolites from the mushroom Ganoderma lingzhi as stimulators of neural stem cell proliferation

Ten meroterpenoids with diverse ring systems and two known compounds were isolated from Ganoderma lingzhi. Several of them were found to promote proliferation of neural stem cells at 10 μM.
