Biosynthesis of nectrisine in Thelonectria discophora SANK 18292

A biosynthetic pathway is proposed to iminosugar nectrisine in the fungus Thelonectria discophora based on results of incorporation of 13C-labeled pentoses into nectrisine and isolation of a putative intermediate.71
