Glycosidase inhibitors from the roots of Glyphaea brevis

Ten phenylalkyl-substituted iminosugars and a cinnamic acid derived glucoside were isolated from the roots of G brevis. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic studies and their inhibitory activity toward glycosidases was evaluated.
