Absolute configuration of podophyllotoxin related lignans from Bursera fagaroides using vibrational circular dichroism

► Bursera fagaroides biosynthesize podophyllotoxin related lignans. ► Vibrational circular dichroism spectra was used to assign the absolute configuration of lignans. ► Lignans from B. fagaroides have the same configuration as (−)-podophyllotoxin.
