Aporphine alkaloids and cytotoxic lignans from the roots of Illigera luzonensis

► Six aporphine alkaloids (1-6) were isolated from Illigera luzonensis. ► N-Butyryl- and N-propionylaporphines are first isolated from a natural source. ► Compounds 12 and 13 exhibit potent cytotoxic activities. ► Compounds 12 and 13 are potential candidates for treatment of cancer diseases.
