Analysis of the cellulose synthase genes associated with primary cell wall synthesis in Bambusa oldhamii

Bamboo is distinguished by its rapid growth. A set of cDNAs encoding cellulose synthase were cloned from the etiolated shoots of Bambusa oldhamii and their expressions in the growing bamboo were investigated.
