Differential proteome analysis of mature and germinated embryos of Araucaria angustifolia

► Araucaria angustifolia is an endangered Brazilian native conifer tree. ► We performed a combined proteome analysis in mature and germinated embryos. ► 2-DE analysis indicated the differential expression of 32 protein spots. ► Label-free approach resulted in the detection of 24 stage enriched proteins. ► Proteins were mostly involved in energy, translational processes; oxidative stress.
