Purification and biochemical characterization of Eumiliin from Euphorbia milii var. hislopii latex

Euphorbia milii, commonly called the Crown-of-Thorns, is a succulent houseplant which has spiny stems and comes from Madagascar. Here, a fibrinogenolytic enzyme from the latex of E. milii has been isolated, and comprehensively studied.
