A candidate cDNA clone for (−)-limonene-7-hydroxylase from Perilla frutescens

A homology-based screening of a cDNA library made from peltate gland secretory cell mRNA from Perilla frutescens identified a candidate clone with preferential limonene-7-hydroxylase activity, and to a lesser extent, other regiospecific hydroxylations.
