Proteomic analysis of hybrid poplar xylem sap

Xylem sap collected from Populus trichocarpa × Populus deltoides was estimated to have over 100 proteins, of which 97 were identified using LC-MS/MS. These proteins were organized into ten different categories, with the majority of proteins functioning in metabolism.
