Effect of tomato pleiotropic ripening mutations on flavour volatile biosynthesis

Pleiotropic ripening mutants of tomato show distinct aroma volatile profiles during ripening with the oxylipin pathway metabolites being particularly diagnostic for ripening stage and mutant type.
