Acetylated pseudoguaianolides from Parthenium hysterophorus and their cytotoxic activity

Chemical investigation on the flowers of Parthenium hysterophorus yielded four new acetylated pseudoguaianolides together with several known constituents including parthenin. The cytotoxicity of the new constituents and parthenin was evaluated.
