Variation of glucosinolates in vegetable crops of Brassica rapa

Sixteen glucosinolates were identified from leaves of turnip greens (Brassica rapa L.) grown in northwestern Spain. Gluconapin and glucobrassicanapin were the most abundant. Ecological and nutritional effects of glucosinolates are discussed.
