A new ursane and a new oleanane triterpene acids from the whole plant of Spermacoce latifolia

- Two new (1-2) and seven known triterpenic acids (3-9) were isolated from S. latifolia.
- The new structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic means.
- Compounds 3, 5, 6 and 9 exhibited cytotoxicity against three cancer cell lines.
- Compounds 1 and 3-9 showed significant α-glucosidase inhibitory activity.
