Bioactive benzylisoquinoline alkaloids from Artabotrys hexapetalus

- We investigated the constituents of the stems of Artabotrys hexapetalus.
- 13 alkaloids including two new ones were isolated from the stems of A. hexapetalus.
- The growth inhibitory activities of new compounds 1 and 2 were measured in vitro.
- 1 and 2 showed inhibitory effects with IC50 values comparable to those of cisplatin.
