Cytotoxic and anti-angiogenic effects of lanostane triterpenoids from Ganoderma lucidum

Eighteen compounds (1-18) including two new lanostane triterpenes (1-2), were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Vietnamese Ganoderma lucidum. Compound 1 exhibited cytotoxic activity against PC-3 cells with IC50 value of 11.5 μM. Compound 17, ganoderic acid F, showed inhibitory effect on the capillary-like structure formation of HUVECs.
