Phomonaphthalenone A: A novel dihydronaphthalenone with anti-HIV activity from Phomopsis sp. HCCB04730

► A novel dihydronaphthalenone (1) and six known (2-7) naphthoquinones were isolated from cultures of Phomopsis sp. ► The structure of 1 was elucidated through spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic analysis. ► All compounds exhibited anti-HIV activities, which was few reported on naphthoquinones.
