Three new cassane diterpenes from the seeds of Caesalpinia sappan

- Three new and four known cassane diterpenes were isolated from the seeds of Caesalpinia sappan.
- The structures of the new compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods, in particular 2D NMR analysis.
- The cytotoxicity of all the isolated compounds against a panel of human cancer cell lines was evaluated.
