LC-SPE-NMR-MS analysis of Strychnos usambarensis fruits from Rwanda

► Investigation of Strychnos usambarensis fruits by LC/SPE/NMR/MS, leading to the identification of the two main alkaloids. ► Akagerine (1) was identified in the alkaloidic crude extract and palicoside (2) was characterized in the methanolic extract. ► These two alkaloids are here described for the first time in the fruits of this species.
