Cytotoxic cycloartanes from the fruits of Caloncoba glauca

► Isolation and structural elucidation of new cycloartane-type triterpenoids. ► Glaucartanoic acid A (1) showed moderate cytotoxic effect against selected cell lines. ► Except for A549, glaucartanoic acid B (2) was inactive against the other cell lines. ► Acetylation of glaucartanoic acid B (2) moderately increased its cytotoxic activity.
