Essential oil composition of twenty-two Stachys species (mountain tea) and their biological activities

► We report herein essential oil composition of the endemic species of Stachys genus. ► Antibacterial and antifungal activity assessment is reported in the study. ► There is a correlation between the traditional uses of species and our results.
