New 2-arylbenzofurans with selective cytotoxicity from Morus wittiorum

► Four new 2-arylbenzofurans were isolated from the stem bark of Morus wittiorum. ► Compounds 1 exhibited selective cytotoxicity against A2780 (IC50 = 1.80 μM). ► Compound 2 showed selective cytotoxicity against A2780 (IC50 = 1.32 μM).
