Cytotoxic diterpenes from the radix of Curcuma wenyujin

Two new unusual diterpenes, curcuminols D and E (1 and 2) were isolated from the Radix of Curcuma wenyujin. Compounds 1 and 2 presented medium cytotoxic activity against the HL-60 and K562 cancer cell lines.
