Synthesis, optical characterization, and solvatochromism study of new two-photon absorption compounds

214The new donor-π-acceptor/acceptor-π-acceptor compounds exhibit strong up-converted fluorescence, obvious solvatochromic effects, and large two-photon absorption cross-sections, which provide promising alternatives as polarity-sensitive two-photon fluorescent probes.
