Synthesis of analogs of the phenylamino-pyrimidine type protein kinase C inhibitor CGP 60474 utilizing a Negishi cross-coupling strategy

The synthesis of novel structural analogs of known phenylamino-pyrimidine-type protein kinase C inhibitors is reported. Key step of the reaction sequence was a Pd-catalyzed Negishi type cross-coupling reaction.
