Isolation, structure elucidation and bioactivity of schischkiniin, a unique indole alkaloid from the seeds of Centaurea schischkinii

Schischkiniin, a unique indole alkaloid with anti-cancer and anti-oxidant properties, together with four known lignans and three flavonoids have been isolated from the seeds of C. schischkinii.
