Keggin and Dawson-type polyoxometalates as efficient catalysts for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones: experimental and theoretical studies

3,4-Dihydropyrimidinones were synthesized by the Biginelli condensation, using Keggin and Dawson type polyoxometalates as catalysts in acetonitrile and ethanol.
