Dendronized piperidine: highly effective and recyclable catalysts for Henry reaction

The negative effect of dendritic shell encapsulation on catalytic activity can be avoided by using a hexamethylene chain for the attachment of piperidine to the dendritic sector. The as-resulted 4-G3′ can be recycled ten times without a significant loss of catalytic activity.
