An efficient transesterification of β-oxodithioesters catalyzed by stannous chloride under solvent-free conditions

Transesterification of β-oxodithioesters catalyzed by stannous chloride under solvent-free condition has been reported for the first time. The short reaction time and good to excellent yields using inexpensive catalysts are attractive features of this synthetic protocol.
