Polyisoprenylated acylphloroglucinols and a polyisoprenylated tetracyclic xanthone from the bark of Calophyllum thorelii

Two acylphloroglucinols, thoreliones A and B, and a tetracyclic xanthone, oxy-thorelione A, together with 12 known compounds, are isolated from the bark of Calophyllum thorelii. The cytotoxic activity of five compounds against three human cell lines, MCF-7, HeLa and NCI-H460, is reported.
