Ring-rearrangement metathesis of bicyclic amino acid derivatives

In this letter, we describe the ring-rearrangement metathesis (RRM) of bicyclic amino acid derivatives. The procedure is of use for the synthesis of constrained amino acid and peptide derivatives with potential as reverse-turn inducers.
