Synthesis and characterization of N-carbazole end-capped oligofluorenes

The synthesis and characterization of a series of N-carbazole end-capped oligofluorenes (CFn, n = 1-3) is reported. They were found to be potential blue light-emitting or hole-transporting materials for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).
