Structure and Absolute Configuration of Isoclavukerin A, A Component from an Okinawan Soft Coral

Structure of isoclavukerin A has been determined as 1 by spectroscopic analyses and chemical reactions. Its absolute configuration has been determined by the CD spectrum and the modified Mosher's method, which have been applied to the autoxidation product (4a).
