pH-dependent interaction of psychotropic drug with glycerophospholipid monolayers studied by the Langmuir technique

►At pH 10.00 the drugs intercalate deeply into the acyl chains of DPPC. ►CPZ is intercalated deeply into the acyl chains of the SAPC monolayer. ►The lipids with serine head groups, demonstrate pH-dependent monolayer packing. ►Drug intercalation in DPPS monolayer induces denser packing than in POPS monolayer. ►CPZ intercalate in PL monolayer more easily than OLP.
