Catalytic mechanism in successive two-step protein-film voltammetry-Theoretical study in square-wave voltammetry

► Novel theoretical model for protein-film voltammetry is developed. ► The model is designated as EEC'-catalytic mechanism by successive two-step electron reaction. ► Various theoretical features of this mechanism are described. ► Methods are proposed for the determination of the Michaelis-Menten constant.
