A density functional study of small neutral, anionic, and cationic indium clusters Inn, Inn−, and Inn+ (n = 2-15)

The optimized results indicate that the structures of the anionic and cationic indium clusters exhibit large similar from those of neutral indium with small cluster sizes. The curves of AIP show a jump oscillation tendency, which means that the In2, In6, In8, In13 clusters with high AIP. For VIP, it exhibits an obvious oscillating behavior with the cluster size increasing.98
