Application of the reaction class transition state theory to the kinetics of hydrogen abstraction reactions of alkanes by atomic chlorine

► Rate coefficients for reactions in alkane + Cl class were calculated using RC-TST/LER. ► Calculated rate coefficients were validated with available experimental data. ► The derived RC-TST/LER parameters can be applied for all alkane + Cl reactions.
