Structures and stabilities of GaCn (n = 1-10) clusters

► We calculated the Ga-doped carbon cluster GaCn (n = 1-10). ► The ground state of GaCn (n = 1-10) is linear structure or quasi-linear isomers. ► The stability of GaCn (n = 1-10) show odd-even oscillation with respect to the number of carbon atom.
