Hard X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy on the GALAXIES beamline at the SOLEIL synchrotron

► We developed a new HAXPES endstation at the French synchrotron facility SOLEIL. ► The setup is operational for both solid state and gas phase experiments. ► Beamline performances allow working in the Auger Raman conditions. ► Beamline flux compensates for ionization cross section decrease at high photon energy. ► Spectrometer compensates for ionization cross section decrease at high photon energy.
