Local structures and magnetic properties of FullereneCo systems studied by XAFS and XMCD analyses

► Co XANES and XMCD analyses provide geometrical and magnetic information on C60Cox compounds. ► In low concentration, three C60 are surrounding a Co with about 1 spin. ► In the region x = 4, ferromagnetic-like spin order is found which is related to GMR.
